    Commercial Foundation Services

All of our commercial foundation products are designed in accordance with American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) methods. Additionally, all systems are tested by independent laboratories that are accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS).

    Helical Pile Systems

Helical piles, also known as anchors, piers, or screw piles, have been used for stabilizing structures since the early 1800s. Originally, starting in lighthouse foundations, helical piers used a wooden shaft with an iron helix. With advancements in technology, helical piers went from using these wooden shaft designs to using high-quality steel pipe piling with multiple spiral helix plates welded to the lead section of the piling. A typical helical pier can have one to three helix plates ranging from 8” to 16” in diameter.

Helical Piers are screwed into the ground, like a corkscrew, until they reaches stable soil. Once the helical pier is installed, a bracket is placed under the foundation footing. This bracket keeps the helical pier in place to ensure that the structure is supported by the pier. After the pier is installed it can even help lift the structure, which can restore its value.

Helical Steel Piers provide excellent foundation repair underpinning and are ideal for providing lift in concrete foundations. These piers are generally recommended by engineers to stabilize the perimeter of homes and businesses that have inadequate beams.

Additionally, helical piers are excellent for foundation repair of lightweight foundations including additions and pier and beam foundations. For most deep foundation problems, helical piers are an excellent choice. They can be used to correct damage caused by organic soils, clay, poor compaction, improper footer embedding, erosion, or stabilizing buildings affected by sinkholes or sinkhole activities.

Our state-of-the-art helical piers are perfect for structures that show signs of damage by foundation sinking and settlement. Commercial clients love helical piles, screw piles, helical piers, helical anchors, helix piers, and helix anchors for the speed of installation and minimal disruption to daily operations.

Contact Jack Power Foundation Repair for a FREE helical pier installation inspection and estimate! We serve Plano, Fort Worth, Dallas, Arlington, Mansfield and all DFW cities in between and throughout North Texas.

    Foundation Underpinning Services

The Jack Power Steel Pier is designed, engineered, manufactured and installed by Jack Power. This gives us control over the quality of the pier and the cost at which we can provide it to the customer. It is the strongest steel pier in the business. It uses a 3/4” steel plate as its base, as opposed to the thinner steel used by the competition. This results in less flex on the grade beam of the home or business during installation.

Jack Power also utilizes its revolutionary Bracket Cradle System. This system cradles your home or business as opposed to being bolted to it. Using a high intensity Fusion Weld, the Jack Power Steel Pier supports your foundation permanently from underneath, supporting the weight with its own strength.

Our pier has a 3-foot guide tube attached permanently to the bracket. This guarantees the integrity of the pier throughout installation. We also use 30” sections of steel pipe with 8” connectors between each section. This gives Jack Power a substantially stronger pier than any other offered on the market with inferior connection strength.

We only use the highest quality materials. Our pier sections are made from new N-80 or similar steel casing. This is the strongest steel casing available in the industry. Other steel pier companies utilize either used Schedule-40 maverick welded tube (inherently weak in the seam), or use acid flushed J-55 steel (aged, deteriorated steel sent back from overseas). These lower grade materials are clearly inferior and will not support your home or business.

To achieve optimal pier depth, our steel pier is open ended as it penetrates the soil to rock. This allows for proper soil displacement so the pier can penetrate as deep as necessary. In combination with the Exclusive Jack Power Steel Pier Driving Method, which is superior to any installation method on the market, the Jack Power Steel Pier is able to penetrate deeper than any other pier system.

The Jack Power Driving Tower attaches directly to the pier bracket, which makes the installation process comparable to the pulling on of a boot by the bootstraps. The result is less flex of the grade beam, which in turn results in less damage to the home.

Jack Power uses a process call Sequential Lifting to return the foundation as close to its original position as possible. This process utilizes independent lifting units for a precisely controlled lift. This system is far superior to the “one size fits all” manifold lifting methods used by the competition.

Not only does this foundation piling permanently stabilize the structure’s foundation, it also provides the best opportunity to lift the structure back to its original, level position.

    Power Pier System

Concrete Press Pilings are the most commonly used pier system in the foundation repair business. Unfortunately, they offer the greatest margin for error when using an inexperienced or unskilled foundation repair company. At Jack Power, we have revolutionized the press pile method of installation with the state of the art Power Pier System.

Utilizing our exclusive Power Cone to displace the soil as the pier is being driven, the Power Pier can be driven deeper than any other press pile system on the market. Steel connectors are installed in between the concrete piles in order to create a one-piece unit that is not susceptible to lateral movement. In combination, these features make the Power Pier System the strongest, most durable press pile system in the industry.
